Secure Folder is built on the principle of absolute digital sovereignty. We believe your private data should remain exactly that—private. Our "Zero-Knowledge" architecture ensures that even we cannot access your files.
2. Data Collection
Offline Local Storage
All files you import (Photos, Videos, Documents) are encrypted using AES-256-GCM and stored exclusively in the app's private internal storage. We do not maintain any cloud servers for user data.
Biometric Data
Authentication via Fingerprint or Face ID is managed entirely by the Android System. Secure Folder never sees, stores, or transmits your biometric signatures.
Browser History
The built-in Private Browser operates in a sandbox. History, cookies, and cache are cleared automatically or stored locally depending on your settings. No browsing data is ever shared with Secure Folder or third parties.
3. Third-Party Services
We use Google AdMob to provide a free version of the app. AdMob may collect certain device-level information (IP, Advertising ID) to serve relevant advertisements. You can manage these preferences in your Google Account settings.
4. Data Deletion
Because your data is stored only on your device, deleting the app or clearing app data will permanently remove all encrypted files. We strongly recommend making unencrypted backups of critical files before uninstalling.
